Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies to fire extinguishers and other products (such as smoke detectors and related equipment) manufactured or distributed by FlamePRO Fire Protection Product Trading ("the Company") and purchased by the original end-user ("the Customer").

  • Fire Extinguishers: The Company warrants that its fire extinguishers are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 5 years for HFC236fa Fire Extinguishers and 3 years for other types of Fire Extinguishers (Dry Chemical, AFFF, Class K and other types) from the date of purchase, provided that they are properly installed, maintained, and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The Fire Extinguisher label must be untampered, and the Manufacturer's Seal must be intact and sealed to provide assurance that the fire extinguisher was not used for trial or in any actual scenarios. The Company will not, under any circumstances, reimburse or refund the total amount or value of the products upon the demand of the customer.
  • Other Products, Equipment and Other Accessories: Smoke detectors and other auxiliary products are subject to a 1-week replacement policy (for factory defects reported within 7 days of purchase) and a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

Warranty Period

  • Fire Extinguishers: 5 years for HFC236fa; 3 years for Dry Chemical, AFFF, Class K, and other types.
  • Smoke Detectors and Other Products: 1-week replacement window and 6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Proof of purchase (Official Sales Invoice or Delivery Receipt) is required for all warranty claims. A photocopy or soft-copy of the receipt is valid provided the original purchaser remains the owner of the unit.

What is Covered?

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Faulty components or parts that compromise the proper function of the product, provided it is not due to negligence, mishandling, or damage by the customer.
  • Leaks, malfunction or pressure loss due to manufacturing defects (for extinguishers).

What is Not Covered?

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, abuse, accident, or improper handling.
  • Unauthorized repairs or alterations.
  • Fire extinguishers or devices that have been serviced, tampered with, or refilled by unauthorized third parties.
  • Normal wear and tear, including rust, dents, or fading of labels.
  • Expired extinguishing agents or drained batteries/normal consumable depletion in electronic accessories.
  • Use in conditions not in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Products that have not been properly maintained or inspected in accordance with local fire codes or company recommendations.
  • Any issue not related to a manufacturing defect.

Claiming Procedure

To make a warranty claim, the Customer must:

  • Contact FlamePRO Fire Protection Product Trading or the designated Service Center or Branch via SMS, Viber, or Facebook Messenger.
  • Provide proof of purchase (Official Receipt / Delivery Receipt) and photos/videos of the defective item that is due for servicing or replacement.
  • Once approved, the Customer may drop off the defective item to our Main Branch or designated service center at the Customer's cost.
